Getting Much Needed Rain

Postby Don McCombs » Thu Sep 29, 2016 10:31 pm

After having had virtually no significant rainfall in Mountain Maryland since early July, we are finally getting some. About 1.5 inches in the gauge and still raining. Yee Hah!

I wish we could have shared some of ours with you. We're in a small area that has gotten pretty decent rain most of the summer, lately it seems that the rain has come a little too often. Unlike a lot of areas, our grass has stayed green and growing all summer. We're pretty tired of mowing! Crops in our immediate area are really good, just hope it dries up enough to harvest them!

We finally got some here in northern WV too. It's been dry for quite a while. Happy to see it come.
