3160A Blades
Does anyone know if there is a quality difference between Hamilton Bob's 3160A blades, Messick's, or OEM from Case IH dealer? They all could be the same manufacturer as they are all about $48 for a set. Sadly Oregon doesn't offer a replacement any longer.

Re: 3160A Blades
Guess. Since there is not a huge demand, probably all made by one manufacturer.
Price appears to be about right.
Purchased blades for my 3260 mower from the local auto parts store. Took a couple of days for the blades to come in, but then I didn't have to pay handling and shipping.

I have an excuse. CRS.

Re: 3160A Blades
HamiltonBobsCubs offers the correct length blades (20 5/8"). This minimizes the uncut row between blades on the corners. The lift for these are lower than what you would receive from a dealer. (less rise on the back end of the blade)

Oregon makes a blade that is 1/8" shorter (20 1/2"). Oregon® Part Number 91-144 The lift matches the dealer blades. I purchased these from AgriSupply. These do leave two little rows 'less cut' between the blades on the corners. On the straight paths it does great.

If you need all three, spend the extra $6 to get HamiltonBobs.

Good info. Thanks. I will need a sharp set available to reduce down-time.

Re: 3160A Blades
Ordered blades from Bob's today. All 3 on my deck have over stayed their welcome. I'll report back on how they cut once winter finally leaves Ohio.
