My PTO on my Int 154 cub??

Postby BigBill » Fri Oct 12, 2007 9:06 am

Since our splines are the same on the Farmall cub to the Int 154 cub how can i adapt the larger pto spline hydraulic pump to our smaller spline?
I'm thinking of adding a Prince hydraulic pump on my PTO on my 154 to run my FEL. Does someone manufacture a sleeve to do this?

Or do i need to tap into the PTO input shaft with my pulleys for the added pump?

The smaller 3pt backhoe attachments have the prince pump with the larger spline too.

Its recomemded that i use a 5 to 8 GPM pump or higher that has 2,500 to 3,000psi to run my FEL and backhoe attachments. Speed and pressure is the key to time vs digging. Plus a good heavy subframe too.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Bill, there is a sleeve. Probably available from CNH dealers or possibly McMaster Carr.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that!
