International 3260 Mower question.
I just completed restoration of my 185 Cub Lowboy and am trying to assemble the mower deck. I was told it is a 3260? International. The linkages don't seem to be working out right and I am not sure how to mount it correctly. Does anyone have a photo or assembly instructions for this mower. Any help would be appreciated.

Nick - I'm not real familiar with the number series implements but there is a Yahoo Group for the Number Series Cub Lo-boys. They have a number of photo files that are accessable online. You do have to join the group to view the pictures. They have a pretty active e-mail based forum. Check them out in Yaho Groups.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Hi Nick - I have a 3260 Mower Deck as well as one that IH didn't number for some reason. There are parts manuals on Rudi's server that show the setup. Here's the url for the mower decks. http://www.cleancomputes.com/Cub/Number%20Series%20Cubs/Cub-154%20Lo-Boy/TC-131%20Parts%20Catalog%20Revision%208/Other%20Equipment/index.html

Did you check the center spindle for play? I noticed my 3260 deck had a growl when i first cranked it up. I removed it to sharpen the blades and noticed the center spindle had a wobble. At first i thought it needed new bearings but i found the center nut loose and after tightening it the wobble was gone. It also took a lot to grease it too all three spindles seemed to be very dry. After adjusting the center spindle and some grease its very quiet now. I saved some $$ buy checking it out first. BigBill
You can get the drive belts if you need them fron Napa too for around $25 to $30.

I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
