Mowing with the 154......

Postby BigBill » Thu Jun 12, 2008 6:55 pm

I been mowing 2 acres with a 108 cub cadet with a 42" deck. Its been fun....

I cleaned, painted and sharpened my 3260 60" deck. While sitting there looking at it I just threw it on and hooked it up. I mowed once with it and found out what i'm missing again. Its so comfortable to mow with the 154 and fun too. Its missing a cup holder......

I have a sims cab for my int154 and i was thinking a coleman roof top air conditioner??? There i go again thinking out of the box shame on me. But it will need an alternator to keep up with the amp draw. With an air conditioner, am/fm radio, cb and heat my int154 would feel like one of those big combines.

No I don't think so. the Cub is a nice little tractor that is practical and somewhat fun to mess with. A combine is a despicable peice of machinery that was spawned in hell from the unholy union of a sandstorm and an out of battery 8 inch howitzer. If is ain't blind'in and choke'in you to death then it is scatterin iron everywhere and makin you go deaf! Did I mention that they spontainiously combust!!

I was checking out the new tractors on You Tube(video's). These computerized tractors give the gallons of gas used per acre, per hour and probably the yeld of the crops too. These things have turned into an awesome $$ and time saving business. Its not like mowing on mt int154 or my fcub. I like the older stuff.

Watch the fendt tractor video on plow day on you tube.
