Cub 154 driveshaft size

Postby 2cubs2cases » Tue Aug 05, 2008 7:01 am

I plan on removing my creeper drive gearbox from my 154. How do I tell what size drive shaft I need?

I talked with "hamiltonbob" he parts out the 154's on ebay. I believe there are 3 different lengths of drive shafts for the 154. I wanted to get an extra one but i'm not sure which length i have in there. I have almost a complete tractor in parts. You could ask hamiltonbon too.

You can measure the distance between the orginal driveshaft and the driveshaft coupling on the engine after the creeper is removed. You reinstall the orginal drive shaft into the clutch then add the distance to your orginal driveshaft length.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
