154 mower

My friend bought a 154 with a mower. The mower is original to the tractor the serial tag is:
3260 u-1112 and no name can be found on it. I believe it is an IH mower deck. DO we have manuals on the forum for these decks?

Dan - the IH 3260 deck is not among Rudi's manual collection. There is a Yahoo Group for numbered lo-boys and they have an e-mail forum group and some photos on their site. I believe there is information on the decks among the photos.

The manual that came with mine only has a few pages and really dont say anything much.---what do you need to know?---I can look and see if it tells or not! thanks; sonny

It should be noted that many of the implement part manuals for the 154's are located in the parts manual of Rudi's site.

On my 3260 IH mower deck the deck belt is a "B100" and the mule drive belt is a "B158".
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Well, I think I actually have the Owner's Manual for that mower. It isn't titled the 3260, however, it sure looks like it and the production dates match the date on my manual. Going to have to investigate it a bit.
