Well I just brought my first 154 home, serial number 032693, it has a 3 pt hitch, woods 59 mower, and creeper gear. Everything seems to work as it should except the tires and some hydraulic lines have alot of cracking going on. These are the before pictures. I converted one of my boat trailers into a car carrier. I takes about 30 minutes to switch it back to a boat trailer.

I will get the engine SN soon. I checked the same place as the original low-boy but it looked kind of rusty there. Not sure i'm looiking in the right place. I'll check again tomorrow morning.

The painted portion of the plate with the tractor serial number is not very legible. The stamped portion is legible and stamped with serial number is 032693 The engine serial number is 60CT2U2990I5* (the character preceding the 5 is a capital letter i ) the engine casting date is 2 27 X

Nice looking loboy... with few problem areas so that is good. Interesting trailer modification. Pics of that would be interesting I would think. Looks like you have a great view especially during hunting season. Nice scenery
Oh btw.. you inadvertently left a soda cooler after CubFest. It will live safely here until you and Charlene reappear for the next CubFest

Re: First 154 with database info and pics
I did some mowing with it and noticed several rattly noises. I don't have much time to check it out this fall as I'm preparing for winter. Have to repoint the chimmley, etc. I never could spell that word mostly it needs a power wash and then a checkout. But it's forth in line on the vehicle projects list and I have to winterize both boats. At the beginning of this year I did not own an IH now I have three of them????

Re: First 154 with database info and pics
Nice find!!!!! congrats. A 3pt with a creeper too. All i see is 154's with no 3pt mostly even on ebay too. I like the creeper for pushing gravel in the driveway. It can go slow and the tires just spin and i won't hurt anything i just go slow in 3rd gear in low on the creeper.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Re: First 154 with database info and pics
During the rebuild I intend to modify both the PTO pully cover and the 3 pt hitch top pin attachment to allow the use of the 3 pt hitch without disconnecting the mower. I will make the cover round and tighter to the pully and raise the top in attachment 2-3" . That should do it.
Where can I view the cub database? I was wondering about what type database product was being used and the field structure.

Re: First 154 with database info and pics
Paul- Sorry for my late reply here. I put together the "database" in Excel, I'm not familiar with any true database applications. You can click on the link in my sig line to get the Excel version, as well as a .pdf version. The current release doesn't have any numbered-LoBoy info, but I plan to remedy that in the next release.
