clutch shaft end play

I can move shaft just a little,less then a 1/16th inch in and out, not side to side. nis this ok? , I do not find end play specs in my manual,thanks Jim click on picture to enlarge.

These are ball bearings so 1/16" endplay isn't much.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
