Anybody know what color the stamped grill screen was originally painted on a 1972 IH Cub 154 Lo-Boy?

Re: 1972 IH Cub 154 Lo-Boy - Grill ColorThey were not painted, they were bare galvanized metal, which looked silver in color. I like to use the high-temp silver for those and mufflers, as that looks pretty close and holds up good. On Cub Cadets, I have been able to wire wheel the grill screen, back to the bare galvanized metal, but I think that the screen on the 154 is too thin to use a wire wheel on. Maybe sand blast? but you will likely still need to paint it to keep the rust off of it.

Re: 1972 IH Cub 154 Lo-Boy - Grill ColorI used the alumimum silver paint on my '71 mesh grille.
