As near as I can tell, my trans. fluid leak is coming from the input shaft behind the master clutch and runs down dripping on the suction pipe and running on down to drip onto the mower drive belt making it slip,--otherwise the unit would mow like a banshee ---even tested it in the sweet corn stalks, and if I could hold the belt it would chop them like a piece of cake.
Dont know what kind of job getting the clutch out so I can put in a new shaft seal will be but from the manual it looks EXTREEEEEMLY time consuming, and right now I dont have any more time to waste on it.
Am going to see if I can tie a big piece of tin up under there to guide the oil off the belt, and let it leak. thanks; sonny
