Looking for 184 Clutch release bearing carrier

Postby realaleman » Sun Feb 27, 2011 1:01 pm

I need a throw-out bearing carrier for my 184 and am not having much luck finding one. They are not the same as the 154/185 apparently. Got price on the bearing, but they are not sold with the carrier, which is made from cast metal. I would like to find a used one, preferably bearing and carrier assembly together. Anyone got one available?

The last time I bought a throw out bearing for a 184, the only way they were available was bearing & carrier assy. I wanted to buy bearing only, but it wasn't available that way. I'd check again & see if they were mistaken.

Gary is right, they are only available as an assembly. I just replaced mine last year.
