How do you guys change the rear axle fluid- remove both rear axle pan(alot of work) or use a syringe to suck it out?
Is there a gasket on the rear axle pans?

Pull the pans & replace the gaskets.
I put mine back together with RTV (clean the mating surfaces well)

Yup same as with any of the other Cubs. Drop the pans, drain the oil, clean the pans and the rim, fill with the recommended amount of gear lube, install gasket (either dry or with Hy-Tack) and re-install. I don't have the GSS-1408 scanned yet so the I&T 38 will have to do. Here is the relevant page:
