184 clutch failed

One year and four months after replacing the clutch, pressure plate, throwout assembly, pilot bearing, driveshaft, and u-joint the clutch has failed.
I probably have less than 100 hours on it with zero hours of pulling. Just driving (mowing and snow thrower work).
The clutch disc itself still looks new, but the hub separated from the clutch. All of the rivets were broken off and the tops of the rivets were laying in the flywheel. The rivet holes look like they are oblong rather than circular so it probably was not tightly riveted to begin with.
Tomorrow I will go back to the Case IH Dealer the part was purchased from and see what they say. I bought the parts originally from a dealer to avoid poorly made foreign parts. The original part lasted 30 years and I had hoped using OEM parts that I would get similar results. I hope they didn't just sell me a cheap part and charge me dealer prices. I really don't want to replace a clutch component every year and a half.
Anyone else have a similar issue with poorly riveted clutches?
Should I tag weld the hub or would that just warp it?
Should I just try another and hope it isn't defective?
