Postby Matt Kirsch » Wed Feb 15, 2012 4:04 pm

Tried google, but kept coming up with porno sites and ebay...

The PTO on the numbered Loboy is also backwards and engine RPM, right?

Counterclockwise rotation. Low idle is listed at about 390 rpm, high idle listed at 1970 rpm.

That's what's listed in the owners manual under "specifications". With it being on a separate shaft,I'm not sure if it's exactly the same as engine RPM. Guess that would depend on the pulley sizes.

From an earlier post a few threads down...
PTO speeds on a 184 and 185 are 2050 and 1880 rpm at high idle and under load.
PTO speed on a 154 is 1970 and 1800 rpm, high idle and under load....

Although I've never measured them, I suppose it's the offset pulley setup that slow the PTO down a bit from engine RPMs.
