serial # problem

Just tried to enter the 185's in the reg. and they were rejected!---(the cubs and the 154 went in)---error said numbers are NOT valid for them. what did I do wrong here?---these 2 have funky #'s on them and I never did find out what year they are.

154--------014035 (it entered ok)

038754 = 1975
042609 = 1976
014035 = 1969
