Cub 184 with a 3160A Mower deck- Belt length question

I have a 184 cub low boy with the IHC 3160 A mower deck on it. The drive belt that runs from the pto is shot so, off to NAPA with the old belt. Parts man measures around the outside of the belt (his tape measure only goes to 120 inches) and he comes up with a total of 151 inches total after adding up both numbers. So we order a B-148 which is supposed to be 151 inches. Doesn't fit at all- too short. I measure the new belt in the same manner he did with a longer tape measure and come up with 150 inches around the outside of the belt. So I measure the old belt and come up with 152 inches. In the mean time I find that at some point I had written down a number on the service manual "B-152" for the power belt. If I look on NAPA's web site a B-152 is 155 inches long which would be way too big, or so I think.
Could the belt number, at one time, have been B-152 and actually been 152 inches long? (which is how I thought belts were numbered. A letter to designate the width followed by the length). Would the B-148 (which is supposed to be 151 inches) actually be 150 to allow for stretching? That would make sense then to assume a 152 inch belt would come new as 151 to allow for stretching as well. Does anyone have an IHC number for the power belt for the 3160A Deck when on a 184 low boy? My manuals do not have that deck in them. Thank you.
