You might want to post the question on specific heater brands in the Farmall Cub section as it will get more views and you may find someone who's used one of these specific brands. Or do a search as this looks like a common seasonal topic.

My tractor starts immediately even with single digit temps. Takes a bit to warm up with plenty of choke feathering required. I am using Champion D-21 plugs with fresh rotor, points, etc. 5W-40 Rotella synthetic oil. My dad's 1948 that I grew up with always started in the winter even with it's 6 volt system (Ok, it sometimes required help with a battery charger).

Seems like you may want to look at basic tune-up options to find out why you're not starting below 20?

I haven't had to use anything on my cub lowboy,it started just fine at 20 delow this week, and I also use mobil 1 syn for my hydalics the don't freeze up when its cold

I use 5w20 mobil 1 on the hydraulics on the front loader and it works great, I have instant power no mater what the temp is,
IH 184 1977 1050 loader w/3pt and creeper
