Make sure you find out what quality level of bearing you're buying as this will determine how long it lasts, particularly on this idler that sees some rpm's, debris, etc. No way would I choose an "unground" cheap chinese bearing for this as it simply won't last. Good bearings have an ABEC rating of 3, 5, & 7 with 7 being the higher quality. Ceramic bearings are typically rated at 9+ depending on configuration.

A high quality 1" bearing could set you back $45. I priced a 1" I.D. x 2" O.D. sealed bearing at Napa at couple of weeks ago and it was roughly $33.

Well I called mcmaster-carr with the part numbers that weve found and they couldnt cross it to anything. Im probably gonna have to look on their site with measurments but im not real sure what im doing in this department. I've always just crossed a number and a bearing came up...lol

I dont want some cheap chinese crap but we all know of the dealer is asking 1 price than you should be able to find the exact same thing for 1/2 that prtoce at least that's been my experience. So far im not having much luck
