My carb is a Zenith with two numbers stamped: 13781 and 10949C-91. I'm fairly certain that 13781 is the model number. I'm trying to find the correct manual online but haven't found anything specific for this model number.
I found this webpage that seems to call a 13781 and a type 68YY7 the same thing. (Is a type number considered a model number?) Based on the website, could this be safely assumed?
http://www.carbkitsource.com/carbs/numb ... 13781.html
To make things confusing, this website also references 68YY7 but with a different model number (13794):

The main thing I'm trying to figure out is if the second link a correct manual for a Zenith carb used on Cub 154's The pictures look right but I'm trying to confirm this before I take it apart.

Re: Need help with Zenith carb manual
Here's a link to the GSS-1411 Blue Ribbon Service Manual. Pages 2-6 and on deal with both the Zenith and IH carbs. I think that may be more helpful than what you were looking at. http://www.cleancomputes.com/Cub/Blue%2 ... System.htm Let us know if you still have questions.

Re: Need help with Zenith carb manual
I saw this before but the model numbers didn't match so I wasn't sure about proceeding. Is it safe to assume that the manual you referenced is the one for pretty much any numbered Cub Zenith?
Thanks

Re: Need help with Zenith carb manual
In addition to Bob's link, I have a PDF "Manual" on the Zenith, but when I tried to post it as an attachment, it is 947 kB and I get a message that says max 184kB allowed. So if you like, I can email it to you if you PM me an email address.

Re: Need help with Zenith carb manual
Presley, As long as you are just replacing fiber washers, needle valve and gaskets, it should be fine. If you need to replace any of the metering parts (like jets, etc.) then you may need to look a little more. McDonaldcarb. com is another place to look, and if you email them they should be able to tell you what kit is right.
Bob
Edit: One of the things to check for is whether your carb has four or five bolts that hold the two halves together. The gasket will need to match the # of holes.
Edit: If you type in Zenith 13781 on McDonaldcarb.com, it will give you two rebuild kits. The rebuild procedure will not be that different between the different models.
