I don't doubt it, however I wanna move on through it, not creep through itoutdoors4evr wrote:A 184 with a creeper is more than capable of running the Mckee.
Hope you get to play with your new toy! It looks GREAT!

It's a chance to use that third gear a little. Really slow on the backing up though!

Re: the 184 and the mckee 320
I have a McKee blower with a creeper drive and have had occasions, where in heavy snow, I'd have to step on the clutch and let the snow clear. I also have a Model 50 snow thrower and have found, although the IH snow thrower works okay, the Mckee is by far superior, in my opinion.

Re: the 184 and the mckee 320
I agree. The Model 50 Snowthrower is more like a Snowpuker. Being single stage, it just pukes the snow one pass to the side to be moved again on the next pass. It works better when it is eating 6" to 12" of snow. It can chew through 2 foot tall drifts, but this takes a lot of clutching even with a creeper in first gear.
The McKee 320 is more able to blow the snow (farther away from the tractor) due to the second stage. Still needs the creeper.

in 30 inches 2 weeks ago I had to clutch it more than a few times and given the amount I had to clear, it had me wanting a faster option so I priced out a ESKINE blower for my TC25D New Holland and my jaw dropped when he told me 7800.00 for a front mount set up for that tractor......F THAT!! I 'll keep the McKee for a while..loloutdoors4evr wrote:I agree. The Model 50 Snowthrower is more like a Snowpuker. I know this is a really old thread but did you ever use this blower? I have one and not used it is deep snow since 2006 or so. I remember mine blowing heavy snow about 15 to 20 feet in the air. I am really hoping to get a good snow this year to use it again. These pictures are the only ones I have ever seen of one other than mine.
