Question about plow for 184
I am new to this forum, but did my research and can't find much on the topic. I have an IH 184 lo boy that I would like to put a plow on for the winter, but am not sure on what plows/brackets would fit..Would I have to get one specifically for an IH lo boy or would other plows mount up to it? I haven't been able to find any fully assembled plows for sale, just seperate parts here and there..Thanks

Re: Question about plow for 184
The mounting hardware/brackets are different for a numbered series front plow setup. TM Tractor website might have some pictures of one, they do have pictures of a conventional front plow with brackets/hardware. You also might check the manuals link at the top of this page for some more information. Look for the Number Series folder. This link should take you there: http://www.farmallcub.com/[ Sorry, direct links to manual section is not allowed. ]/index.p ... ts&order=0

If you find a source for the mounting hardware and rock shaft, please post here. I've been looking also and I know of the separate parts here and there that you mentioned. Everyone wants my first born for a bent piece of steel with a few holes in it. :/

Re: Question about plow for 184
Will do. I just checked ebay, and there are a few rock shafts on there..as far as anything else, I have a feeling I'll be driving a few hours, maybe more, to find something from craigslist that is old and used and rusty, but hey, you do what you gotta do, snow's coming.

Re: Question about plow for 184
I am also new to this forum, and do better fixing a printer problem, than fixing Cub 154/184's, but I am going to try. This is the best pic I have seen, and I have been having the same problem. I purchased a Cub 154 like in July, (it runs), but I am preparing it to plow snow on the driveway. I have all the parts in the above picture, but they are all apart, and sitting in my garage, waiting for me to do something with them. Since they are in fact all apart, this picture is worth a thousand words, and I really appreciate it!! Thanks Kindly! Scott
