New Owner Here

Postby Hobohilton » Sun May 28, 2017 10:40 pm

Picked up a Cub Loboy, Serial # 011619. Seller said it needed a clutch replacement. Tore it down and have clutch and pressure plate removed. The plate that the pressure plate fastens to (Input shaft on transmission) seems to have an lot of play in it. Is this normal ? Also, I'm not sure which model my Loboy is. I think it's a 185 but I could be mistaken. Any help on identifying the model would be appreciated. Where is the best place to get clutch disk, pressure plate, throw out bearing and bushing?

Thanks,

Hobo

Welcome to the Forum. Number series LoBoy part: Forum Sponsor HAMILTON BOB'S, Offset Loboy Forum Sponsors TM Tractor, JP's, NAPA or other local auto parts, just ask for parts for INTERNATIONAL C60 engine. A picture would help ID your tractor.

Hi,
If it is a Cub 154 LoBoy, there should be an ID plate on the frame at the left front of the engine. Here is a pic of it. It says the model of the tractor on the plate.
Below is a pic of a 154 LoBoy. :)

You have a 1969 154.
It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.

A couple of photos. I'll be needing a clutch setup.

Thanks for your help.
