Another tractor accident

Postby Peter Person » Mon Sep 17, 2012 9:56 pm

...in Clinton, CT
http://www.ctnow.com/news/hc-child-struck-by-tractor-in-clinton-20120917,0,6413437.story

3 yr old girl riding behind the parent, serious injuries, hoping that she recovers and heals.

...so sad.

Very. Hope she recovers.

Sometimes what we are used to doing is not the safest thing at all.... we usually find that out the hard way. :(

Looking at the pictures, and the statement the child was riding behind, I assume she was sitting in the seat for the backhoe, which would have been out of sight of the driver. Know how negligent the news reporters are much of the time on details I wonder if the child was actually run over, or if the bucket was fairly low and it struck her. We probably will never know. As others have said though, I pray that she recovers with no long term ill affects.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
