Bald Eagles

Postby deputy jailer » Tue May 10, 2011 6:20 am

While waiting on the flood waters to go down I did some bow fishing for grass carp in my yard (never woulda dreamed of it). I knew there was 4 bald eagles in a couple of areas around my farm. While I was in the yard I noticed a big bird in a tree at the back of my property. I went in and got the camera and the wife asked what I was doing, when I told her I was going to snap some pics of my elusive eagles. She said I was crazy that there are no eagle around here. You guys tell me if I was just seeing things or what :D She said it was a buzzard or a hawk but no says I :D :D

sure looks like an eagle to me, an old buzzard looks more like the picture on the right side of this post.
