I have never been able to eat an antler, and those bucks full of hormones taste like crap compared to a nice sweet doe. I shot an old girl off my uncles farm back in NY. Corn and alfalfa fed, field dressed at 168lb.

I have a trophy hanging in the barn, friend gave me one of his many.

Well Ed, figure in Cub express, purchase pick-up, seeing friends ect.. the meat is just a plus.

I always figured buck vension tasted sort of like an old boar hog.

Never eaten much venison but most of what I have had was good. That was all still-hunted. Even if it's a doe if she's been run all day long by a pack of dogs, the meat won't be very good=strong tasting.

IH's are RED. Just say NO to yellow and white!

Let us pray for farmers and all who prepare the soil for planting, that the seeds they sow may lead to a bountiful harvest.
