I have been planting by the moon all my life and I think it works . Here are some dates to plant by, you may want to try it. This is for VA, W VA, KY, OHIO, PA , MO, IL, IN KS, CO, UT, NV,MD and northern Ca Sweet corn early, planting days 4/1-17 best moon days 4/1-9 Late planting days 7/7-21 best moon days 7/7 and 7/21 beets early 3/15-4/3 3/15-25 late 8/15-30 8/15-19 peas green 3/7-30 3/7-10 and 3/26-30 white taters 4/1-30 4/10-23 beans 4/15-30 4/24-29

Mine comes off the Ramond Calendar Granddaddy and daddy went by it so I guess I do too  They are getting hard to find now though David

We have to plant when the ground and weather permits here!! --usually like to do spuds on day 100,--BUT the weather dont always allow that to happen!---some folks swear by the moon!---guess its what ever works! thanks; sonny

David,if I planted on those dates my plants and stuff would freeze.I lost enough last year not trying anything new.row crops 2nd weekend in May,plants the weekend before Mem Day weekend.Works best up here.Kevin
