Mint

Postby jakeesspoo » Tue Mar 17, 2009 9:13 pm

Outside our door near our flower beds are some mint plants. They arent that bad of a looking plant but are extremely intrusive. That mint somehow makes its way across the sidewalk into our "good" flower beds. I want to get rid of it but am not sure how except to dig that whole are down about a foot and then I still think that it would come back. Does anyone else have any experience with this? I dont know if the previous owner planted it there or what. Its harder to get rid of then weeds. I was thinking about trying to put some 2wd on it but Im not even sure that will get it. I would enjoy it if I didnt have to go around the other flower beds pulling out little sprouting mint plants all summer... :)
