I have planted in in that mud for over 40 years, and it will work up just fine. Never is a long time

But I'm always open to an experts opinion. Thanks A lot Johnny

Johnny, be thankful for that kind of soil. In our area we have a lot of clay, and if you plowed and worked ground that wet you would have to forget about it for 2 or 3 years. the clods would be like concrete.

Here too in this black clay gumbo!---even a tad bit wet will kill it for that whole year!--clods wont break up and the more you try the harder they get,--resulting in nothing growing! thanks; sonny

Never worked with clay soil. But I can see that it needs to be worked when dry. My land is very rich and kind of sandy.I plowed that field at 9 AM and by 12 noon I ran my disc over it three times. Looks real good, And I'm going to plant potatoes in the morning. THANKS JOHN I can see what he meant by never.

THANKS JOHNNY
