Picked one elephant garlic plant this afternoon. 2 years old. Cloves slightly larger than a ping-pong ball up to slightly smaller than a tennis ball.
Roasted the garlic in the oven. Not bad, actually pretty good tasking. Tastes some where between onion and garlic.

Sounds like you guys should be vampire-free for at least the next 6-8 months!

My sister grew some elephant garlic and she took it to the local farmers market. Bad mistake, she sold it all.
