evidently a good chainsaw is like a good marriage. you appreciate the heck out of it when you got one, and drull over that wonderful chainsaw someone else has?
at least thats what i'm getting out of this post concerning chainsaws?
Well Billie, you know what they say don't you,
Life begins at forty I am the living truth that it is so!
It's not so bad at 50 as well, I'm just sampling 60 and it's good too!
Your life is infront of you, go and enjoy it, Oh! and by the way, Happy Birthday for march whichever day it might be!

Turns out the saw could take either 3/8 or .375 chain. The sprocket had to match the chain. He had .375 chain and a 3/8 sprocket.
when a chain for a chainsaw is listed 3/8 and .375 is the same size.
.325 is the smaller metric size than 3/8 or .375
just for those who were wondering
good luck never seem to have that problem with the chips. i think you'll probably have to wear the chain down so the rakers aren't so short. I also only run pro chain and have had very good luck with skip tooth chains as well.
