Previous owners of "New Acres Garden's left a bunch of rope hanging in a shed on the wall,--after close inspection, hey---electric fence rope!--Cool!!-- I strung it up with 3 strands, and noticed the deer tracks came to a skiddin' stop at the fence and they did stay out of that part of the garden for most of this summer!!---and no I did not get to harvest any of them!!!
over at our farm, they go into the machine shed if you leave the doors open and leave for a half hour!! thanks; sonny

For those racoons, put up an electric frnce 6" off the ground and run 110 volts to it at night. You get toeat your veggies and a freezer full of BBQ coon.

Re: Deer in GardenDog poop scattered around the perimiter will help
Re: Deer in GardenI am sure all those ideas work but what works best and works all the time is rotten eggs around the garden. We had a lot of deer. You would have to stay up a lot of nights to kill them all. The commercial product on the market use rotten egg as a base. The only thing is you have to keep putting them out because the coon will eat them after a while.
