David, you have to go with your heart. The last thing i remember is Shanny looking up at me as
she breathed her last breathe, I think she was thanking me. I hope she was. As her pain and her fight was over. She rests in a place of honor that i will see everyday. You have my prayers as well. As Big Dog stated, be there with her, if you can, and ease her transition. And remember she will be chasing bummies in heaven in no time, just waiting for you to join in hopefully in many, many years.The thought of getting a new puppy or two in the spring is a comforting thought as well. My youngest kids have never seen a samyoed puppy or been involved in the training of a dog, so we will get to spend a lot of time doing that this year. Hope to have one by Docfest.
