But we did welcome Dozer to the mix. He is about four years old and looks to be mostly Border Collie. The PO said he thought he was full blood but I have my doubts. He has a bit more weight than a normal Border.
The previous owner stopped by last week and said he had a dog that needed room to run and felt sorry for him because he was cooped up in a small yard with nobody to play with. We plan to take care of that. He is well mannered and so far the girls have somewhat accepted him. I think, given time, he will fit right in with them.
For now we are keeping him in the garage, away from the girls until we know there will be no problems.

RUSSALL wrote:Bill, that is a nice addition to your barnyard. I too have added to my yard. I have a 2 1/2 year old chocotate lab and a few weeks ago we brought home a pup black lab. What was I thinking ? Anyway they are starting to get along .I like to watch them wrestle around and glad to have them.
