Our son got a new skidsteer for Christmas from my brother and it has several attachments with it. One is a set of forks and he had this plastic pallet from another toy but it’s not wide enough for his forks so since he thinks his daddy can make anything at work I made him a pallet out of aluminum that will fit.

I think 3-4 open top steel barrels would look real good on that pallet. :D

Thanks y’all! God has blessed me in more ways than I can count. Some barrels may happen for the pallet, that’s a good idea.

Every now and then I bring our son to work with me if I don’t have to work all day. Last time I brought him I decided to let him strike his first arc at 5 years old. I remember when Dad let me weld the first time, I was 10 and it was with the Lincoln buzz box he still uses today.

I love reworking parts because the plan didn’t work out for the third try and he said do them all like this without knowing for sure it would or wouldn’t work. Welding 400 parts together to make 200 of these. Thankfully I get paid by the hour.
