Bill,
This was in a local Walmart parking lot and I thought of you.

Probably overheat if they made a grille with “North Carolina” squeezed in there
Every home is a school, what are you teaching?

Pretty ingenious. That was done without blocking any part of the grill.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Pretty ingenious. Being a Toledo Jeep retiree, Jeep has always used that 7 vertical slot pattern in their grilles to my knowledge. I remember when Hummer copied that look and the court battle started. Now the big 4 door Wranglers are almost as big as the Hummers Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind
When I told my dad I've been misplacing things and doing stupid stuff----His reply---"It only gets better"

Looks to me like it was done only using paint or black tape.

Re: Barnyard, this is for you (Jeeper)
Short version is the seven slot grille represents the seven continents. Jeep (Willys) was the first vehicle to be on all seven during WW2. Hummer (AM General) traced their roots to American Motors in the late sixties/early seventies. American Motors had the Jeep division for civilians and the AM General division for the military. Some lawyers messed up and didn't exclude the seven slot grill when AM General was sold so Hummer had a legitimate claim to use the seven slot grill.Rick Prentice wrote:Pretty ingenious. One gratuitous Jeep picture from the Car Show at yesterday's American Thresherman Show in Pinckneyville, IL.

I didn't get close to it so I can't say for sure. I'll keep my eyes open for it and let you know if I see it again (up close).

That owner knows nothing about respecting the great state where these vehicles where built.
