Removed the blades from my Woods 42 today and ordered new ones.
Was looking at the old blades. Appear to be made of quality steel.
Wondering what kind of cutting tool I could make from the old blades. Corn knives and axes, I have.

If you could anneal it, grind it again, then re-harden it, they would make a nice large camp knife....
Like Don, I have used mine in the e-tank.

Re: Old Woods 42 Mower Blades
Currently thinking about making a heavy duty meat cleaver.
Have a plasma cutter and heavy grinders. Shouldn't take much to cut out the cleaver's basic shape, then grind the edge.
More suggestions wanted.
