1 MILLION hits
I've been watching the counter on the home page, it should register 1,000,000 visitors served this weekend. WOW!

Much like a trusty old car, it should roll the odometer over to zero. I'll have to add something like "1 Million + served"

Absolutely amazing. I know how hard it is to generate that many hits. After what almost 3 years on this counter, I am only up to 75,000+ uniques.. but almost 145,000 total.. not too bad..
At this rate, I should equal http://www.farmallcub.com in about what 10 years??
Congrats.. just proves what a valuable site this is, and also proves just how much family really can do

Incredible I wonder how this compares to other special-topic lists--this must be WAY up there.
Having previously participated in a couple other lists that split and redivided more than the Baptists (no offense! ), I think big congrats are in order for the moderators of this site: THANK YOU, guys! You--and everyone here--deserve kudos for keeping the tone of this site civil and helpful. This is a wonderful community--I'm sure glad you're here. I never would have had the nerve to buy Lil without having y'all for backup.
Cheers! tractor lady

This site is getting about 1,000 new visitors per day now. That's a lot of new folks checking out Farmall Cubs, unless new computer sales are on a big upswing.

Some musings I have been contemplating whilst getting a bit of seat time on the green and yellow thing cutting my lawn.. in regards to this momentous 1,000,000 visitors thingy... wow.. still have a hard time getting my head wrapped around that!!!!
One thing about cookies.. when you remove em, they are not rebuildable as such. New cookies are generated.
The counters use the cookies to figure out who is new and who is returning. Not that it is gonna make a huge difference.. maybe 1% total over the last year especially, seeing as how we are almost at 2500 members, but new cookies for members will count as a new unique.. so that may skew the datum some, but not a lot.
I keep that in mind whenever I look at my server stats.
Also, I am not sure about wwwl.farmallcub.com..., but on the Cub Manual Server, if a hot link is embedded in a post, that view will not be counted. It is only hits taken on the main index where the counter is locaated that will record the unique or returning visitors.
I use Tabs on my browser and one of the tabs is the Cub Manual Server, so everytime I open my browser, it registers as a return visitor.. that skews a bit as well.
