Any one using internet exsplorer 7 or beta?
I was wondering if any one using internet exsplorer 7 or 7 beta has had any problems intermeting connecting to the cub board where you get a time out or failure to connect. I have been having this trouble on and off for a month or so now and rudi is trying to fix but needs more info.

JON,
I just started using IE7 a few weeks ago and I like it fairly well. My computer was locking up often and I was told this would help. Now that you mention it, it does take a few seconds longer to connect. But I have dial up, so I'm used to it. I was thinking that part of the blame was that I hadn't defragmented my hard drive for some time now. That, also, is something that I'm used to.
My 2 cents.

I kind of like the tabs my self and have had a few problems at first when it was beta testing but now I have a sat dish for internet and If i use tab browsing I do this all the time I usally have about 4 of my favorite places open in tabs. My dial up witch is broad band now also I just connect on a lan or IP or something it does not actually dial up but if I go to them I can get through but its slow real slow if I go to exsplorer its fast about 1100bps my dial up isp is only about 130bps so you can see the difference . But for the last couple weeks at certain times of the day I cannot get to the cub board at all on IE7 wait awhile it will go or sometimes restart exsplorer it will go but yesterday I could not get here at all. I tryed everything. This morning bang within a sec I was here. I dont know but some one else emailed me with the same problem last night. What the heck canit be.
I even put it under a trusted site in the internet options still could not connect it sits there for about 1 min then says failure to connect I think I get the little IH sigh at the top by the http but will not go Its frustrating. I had a few things going on yesterday here in the off topic and such and had to wait 5 min for each post through my walmart isp.
The next time it happens I will get the exact error message. Does any one know of how I should set up my advance options under the exsplorer tab?

Jon, I recently switched (upgraded) to IE7 about 2 weeks ago. At first I was thinking of going back to IE6, but once I got used to it, I like it.
I've seen your recent posts regarding the inability to get into the Forum. You aren't the only one, as I too have had a few instances where I could'nt get access.
So it's not just you or your computer.

There is a reason why the auto phishing filter is built in... it is to actually see/stop/wipe phishbots and stop them from datamining.... you don't really want to disable that feature...
On broadband it really isn't noticable, but it does serve a good purpose...

Jim, that shows how computer illiterate I am. How did you get Outlook Express off your computer and what program do you use for e-mail, and why? I am thinking about getting a new e-mail address because my spam catcher catches over 200 and sometimes 300 spams a day. About a dozen a day show up in my outlook express mail.

I have Internet Explorer with road runner high speed , but not sure what # it is . I am not computer savy, recently the top of the screen online icons changed and I no longer have a icon for e mail, to get to email I must go type in the address for hot mail and when I get there the mail is now called BETA . Does that seem like its Internet Explor 7? If I have #7 I sure would like to go back to what I had it was easier to navigate especialy on the e mail.
Jim I think maybe I have 7 also, how did you go back to 6?
