If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that!

Rick,
I haven't experienced that problem but I have a related one. I've noticed my blond hair becoming lighter blond. What's up with that?

Thanks to some genes passed on to me by my mother, my hair started to slowly turn white when I was about 35. It seems that every time I went to the barber shop, he would only cut the brown ones, not the white ones. I changed barbers several times, but still the same thing. It was a conspiracy, I tell ya In reality, I don't care what color it turns, as long as it stays up there.
Rick, as to your second problem, welcome to the wonderful world of getting older. Buy yourself a pair of moustache scissors or an electric trimmer and whack away. I'm afraid it's your only solution. Or maybe you could try hormone replacement therapy.
Oh, and by the way, I agree with Bigdog. Get your wife a hobby. Collecting small red tractors, maybe.

Man you just don't get it "Bald is beautiful" and just don't forget it. Did you ever see grass grow on a busy street?
The glass is half full! Man you got accentuate the positive, Eliminate the negative and don't mess with mister in between.
I forgot to mention the barber charges $12.00 for a haircut. In my case it is $2.00 for the cut and $10 to find it.

Do yourself and everyone who is going to attend CubFest a huge favour. Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and or better yet, go to your local Stihl Dealer buy yourself a high end HEDGE TRIMMER .
That should solve your problem..
