THE FLU
WOW, I have never had anything hit me so hard and fast in my life. MY step son was sick a few days ago and I guess I got what he had. I woke yesterday morning ate a couple waffles decided to take a walk with the muzzle loader and started feeling real nauseated I came back and went to bed and that's when it all started .
I started throwing up, 3 times was so sick I could barley move hurt so bad wanted to die, Slept pretty much the whole day at about 6:00 pm I was finally able to drink some ginger ale and keep it down. This morning I feel a little better but still feverish sitting here at the PC and the sweat is rolling off my brow. I think its time to go back to bed. Cant say as I ever heard of a 24 hour flu but will have to see if it lingers.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Love Story
I will seek and find you . .
I shall take you to bed and have my way with you
I will make you ache, shake & sweat until you moan & groan.
I will make you beg for mercy, beg for me to stop.
I will exhaust you to the point that you will be relieved when I'm
Finished with you.
And, when I am finished, you will be weak for days.
Love and kisses

Jim, I hope you don't mind that I posted this link on COPD. It was interesting reading and may help others to diagnose the disease.

I did get a flu shot, but the stomach flu which is going around is actually a virus, and flu shots don't make any difference with it. the type flu covered by the shots is the upper respiratory types that cause breathing distress.George Willer wrote:I'm curious whether you guys getting flu had the shots?
If you are not part of the solution,

COPD
Don,
That link should be required reading for anyone even considering using paint with hardener. The medical profession in general dwells on the high risks of smoking and seems to ignore the other causes of COPD. I was a smoker until 21 years ago, but I blame my COPD on other causes I was far too casual about.
BTW, I'm inhaling from a machine as I type and will inhale my daily steriod medication a little later.
