Colorado Roads

Postby Donny M » Sat Dec 23, 2006 6:26 pm

Some of you know that I was in Colorado this past week. I left home on Monday to do a job in Denver on Tuesday. I completed the job Tuesday evening and was going to head home early Wednesday morning. Here's what I ran into before I 25 got closed in the afternoon.

Before that picture was taken I took another picture of 2 idiot's, the first is obvious, the second is behind the camera

Finall made it home early this (Saturday) morning after detouring around some closed roads in New Mexico.

Donny, you should be happy you weren't trying to fly out of DIA. Still a mess down there. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Not the first time I have seen somone reach out the window with a scraper while driving. I may have been guilty a time or two myself, but don't remember for sure.

Glad you made it home safely.

Donny: Those pics show some aggressive weather as is evidenced by the fact that the Denver Int'l Airport is still loaded with travelers who've been there since Wednesday - I can't imagine. Living in a snowy climate my whole life, I can't ever remember using a scraper while in motion, but many times reach out to grab a moving wiper to knock the ice off it !! As I write this, I'm watching the Bronco-Bengal game from Mile High and it's snowing like mad again !! Could get interesting, unfortunately. Glad you were able to "escape". Craig
