Could someone explain to me why diesel fuel prices are now .10 to .15 cents per gal. more than reg. unleaded gas.

It always used to be .10 to .15 cents cheaper than gas. Doesn't diesel fuel need less refining than gas? Or is it that the oil companies need to line their pockets some more.

Enough of the ranting. I was just curious. :?

 Its just the area that the politicians want to attack at this time. There are more small diesel vehicals on the road now than previous years so they tax it more and get bigger personal kick-backs to boot.

:o Have you EVER seen a diesel engine run on propane????

The more oil prices go up per barrel, the more they look for other possible means of fuel!

Once you've bought a diesel, you can only burn diesel, kerosene,or jet fuel.

WhereI work,we buy Jet-A in bulk @ the same price the reg. unleaded is @ the pumps!!

kinda makes since to me anyway. :?:
