Been watching the festivities on CNN.
So far the score is as of 10:49 PM AST :
Bush 152
Kerry 112
Projections only, but I think it will be a long night.
Some people in Canada think Kerry will be better for us as he is a little more liberal.
Personally, I rather the one we know than the one we don't. I really don't trust wishy washy.
Hope this doesn't stir up the pot too much

You think it looks interesting from there, you should see it from here. I don't like either one of them and kept looking for a box marked "None of the Above".

Rudi & John,
I always enjoy watching the election night results. I, too, wish that we had better choices for candidates. It takes a whole lot of different skills to lead a nation, and we are left wanting. But, we elect them and I suppose we must bear the results of the decisions of the majority. I always pee and moan about elected officials that I disagree with, but when push comes to shove, I shelve the differences and fall in behind them. I'm not really old, but I have lived long enough to see the country changing. I can't say that it's good or bad, just different. And we all fear the unknown. My two cents.

Oh, and Rudi, you did want to stir up the pot!

Lot of folks in Florida think that Jeb Bush would make a good President. If it boils down to Mr Guiliani and Ms. C, then I predict another decisive close election.
Win or Lose, it was great to see the majority of registered voters get out and vote. I think it was '76 or so when this happened last.

Senator Kerry proved that he his a gentleman and a good American in his speech this afternoon in which he conceded victory to President Bush.
By asking everyone to stand behind the troops and the Commander-in-Chief, he proved that he actually may have made a good President himself.
I applaud him for his gracious remarks.
The President was no slouch either

Glad you said "May Have" Rudi. I personally am glad he got his azz whipped at the voting booth and I think he would have been a disaster.
