Had a GREAT Thanksgiving

Mon Nov 29, 2004 5:54 pm

My daughter Susan, twenty-eight, and my son- in law Peter were with us for Thanksgiving again this year. They both live in San Francisco. Both are doing well in computer programing and stuff I don't understand. We smoked a turkey, had tractor rides for a nickel, and played horse shoes.

You would think that after I spent so much time teaching Susie to play horse shoes when she was little, that she would let me win a game or two. Nope, she beat me 21-3, 21-0, 21-0, 21-0 and 21-0

We had perfect weather and a great time together just hanging out :D

Hey Russ,

I think that high-crop used to belong to JP Tractor Salvage. I also think it was the "show tractor" for the first Cub-Arama. 8) Am I right, Mike :?:

Hi Russ... Thank you. No kidding my daughter throws close to 70% ringers    I thought she would let me win one game, so I got mad and quit playing

She and Pete enjoyed riding the '57 hi clear.

Mike had just picked up that cub and was on his way home with it when he stopped to visit with me earlier this year. He left his rig setting on the parking lot of the local farm and home suppply store while he came out to visit me. There was a steady stream of people stopping to admire it, and I heard comments about it from different people in the area for 2 weeks.
