When my Cub Lo-Boy won't mow the slope I drag out my old Gravely walk-behind mower

I do the same thing with my 1961 LI which has duals. You can't beat them and they won't quit. :D

Local Forestry service used to have the Gravely walk behinds for campground and trail maintenance, etc., even had a couple riding sulkys for them. those things sure took a beating and kpet on running.

I have 3 L1's - 2 of which are running. They are work horses, and your right about them "keep on ticking". I have a sulky, but find it kind of hard to keep my knees out of the way! Rotary plow and roto tiller work great in the garden. Have two plows, but not much use for them. Don't do much with the cultivator bar, either.

RV. I have 2 brush hogs like yours. They really do the job with small brush & saplings. Also have a sickle bar, but don't use that much. Cub takes precidence over all this stuff :)

Hey that's neat, looks like that would do a lot better than my Bachtold, lots better traction too, then again LOTS more money I bet.

I just need to find me another 8 horse Briggs before this years cutting season.
