In the opinion of others, is there a chance that Marvel Mystey Oil could file plugs :?: Joe.

My opinion is that it will not. Plug fouling indicates an air/fuel mixture problem.

Fouling is caused by running the carb too rich or bad riings. On overhead valve engines worn valve guids can contribute too. If Marvel is involved it probably would have been worse with out it.

I've been using Marvel for over 10 years in my 54 cub and my 17hp Simplicity mower and have yet to have a fouled plug.

Never dealt with MMO myself, but have similiar products. The only way it should cause problems is if you had way to strong a mix.

I never measure the stuff, I just dump it in the oil and gas. Never had any fouling trouble at all.

Joe,

One of the ways to use it is to put it directly into the cylinder to try to free stuck rings. (as I have done successfully) IMHO used this way it could foul plugs. Added to the gas, I doubt it would be a problem.
