JD makes a very good quality IH red paint. Could it be for this purpose? Hmmm.... Ed

Yes if the right shade of red is used. Box car red. You know ..... kind of rusty looking. Vern

Why waste good paint. A pig wearing lipstick is still a pig.

What great suggestions I feel better already. The Cub Cadet (MTD) is down again for major repairs. Time to fix and unload. I lucked out and found a JD G110 made in 2005 with 228 hours on it . Came with a spreader, chains, sun cover, cart, and extra oil filters. Always serviced at JD and kept inside. The price was right. I'm well known around here for being all red. That's where the idea came from besides I have enough IH red to do the job. Is there a special primer for the plastic emblems? Thanks, Dan
