1. Keep it clean.
2. Keep the discussion civil.
3. Name calling is not allowed.
Politics and religion are two topics that tend to degenerate into a violation of one of the three simple rules above.
The mods and the site admin reserve the right to "lock" or "delete" any discussion that in our opinion, is "heading in the wrong direction."
MOST of all, be respectful of your fellow Cubber's opinions. Don't expect to change someones belief system from a simple forum on the internet.

mmmm I think EJP has it. I don't care how windy it was. Sure you weren't testing a new style potato cannon or something else with flammable stuff?

Looks like ISAAC may roll directly over us . We have had much worse but with all of the variables , who knows what the result will be. We may be far enough inland to avoid severe wind damage , but saturated ground with gusty winds may topple a few big trees and cause widespread power outages , short term hopefully.

I was sure that was just a bad parachute landing by Harold when he bailed out of that ballon.

I'm not very partial to balloons to begin with, they're big, slow, and at the mercy of the wind. So, the chances of finding me in one are pretty slim. However, I must tip my cap to the Bay Stater and his innovation. What better way to see Woodstock? No muddy Converses, no traffic jams....
