Then you can give thanks for some roast turkey vultures.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: what a greeting
I used the link rather than resizing and posting here. A small picture does not have the same affect. That is a new 3 phase line that was rebuilt to serve more customers about 3 years ago. Our power did go out briefly not long after I took that picture, so there is a good possibility there is one or maybe 2 if they got cuddly laying at the bottom of the pole. It is about 150 yards away, and across 2 fences so I did not bother to go check.

John stated:

At least they set and watch you, around here; they fly in a circle above me every time I set down.

Re: what a greeting
Turkey Vulture, Buzzards, whatever. I can't say I'd want to join them for lunch nor when not flying they ain't pretty but in the air I think they are one very graceful bird. The're fun to watch as they home in on breakfast, their sense of smell must be tremendous. Or they can soar for a long period of time hardly moving a wing. With Jeanne's war on coons this summer we've seen several. I told her they would put her on their Christmas card list. Don't worry though John, one bit of you and they would not like the taste. (do I dare sign this?) Vern
